High-level dialogue between the INTO and the MKA

On 9-10 March, Catherine Leonard, Secretary General of the International National Trusts Organisation (INTO), visited Budapest at the invitation of the Hungarian Garden Heritage Foundation (Magyar Kertörökség Alapítvány; MKA).

The Secretary General of the prestigious heritage protection organisation bringing together some 65 nations and regions (https://www.into.org/), was escorted by the representatives of the MKA when they visited the Royal Palace of Gödöllő to attend a professional meeting with Tamás Újváry, Director of the Palace, to discuss future cooperation opportunities. After the meeting, the delegation visited both the castle and its garden. The global organisation, which has 85 member organisations worldwide, accepted the Hungarian Garden Heritage Foundation into its family last November to enforce the protection of built and natural heritage in Hungary, capitalising from international experience and representing Hungary in the world organisation.
